Interview with Striker

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Striker: There were at least three that I was aware of. An eighteen man cell, a nine man cell, and a ten man cell usually reserved for female inmates, as well as the solitary confinement cells and the holding cells.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Striker: Eighteen man cell, Ten man cell, Nine man cell, and Solitaire.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Striker: The male inmates were generally housed in the Nine and Eighteen man cells, while the women were primarily housed in the Ten man cell. I assume the Solitaire and holding cells were used for a combination of the two.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Striker: The never ending hot showers were very nice, but the privacy in the Nine man cell was seriously lacking. The wall surrounding the toilet and shower area was only waist high, and everyone in the cell could see you, no matter how hard you tried to hide or gain any privacy.
