Meals

Interview with Rob

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Rob: We got 3 meals a day

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Rob: The food was absolutely disgusting. Every single item on the menu there was so small in portion and the quality was just so low. The bread and cakes were usually hard or stale. The milk and juice was watered down. The veggies were scrap canned food or leftovers from prior days

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Rob: They were all my least favorite, but I suppose if I would have to choose one I'd say tacos. They gave you a sauce packet which helped with the taste

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Rob: They offered night snacks for people with medical conditions but other than that just comissary. Comissary wasn't too expensive compared to the outside world but it only comes once a week and is hard to ration.
