Interview with Jessica, Joe Smith, Rod, Ben and Jade

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Jessica: YES, I GUESS I COOPERATED WITH EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE AND THIS WAS MY FIRST OFFENSE.
Joe Smith: No
Rod: was eventually sent to the workhouse
Ben: No I did not get off early for any good behavior.
Jade: yes, its called good time. ten dAYS OFF FOR EVERY THIRTY THATS DONE

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Jessica: I AM NOT SURE. I WAS NOT IN JAIL LONG ENOUGH TO FIND OUT.
Joe Smith: Not applicable
Rod: na
Ben: In minnesota I believe you can be released 1/3 early
Jade: TEN DAYS FOR EVERY THIRTY BY LAW.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Jessica: WELL, I DO KNOW THAT YOU WOULD NEED TO AVOID FIGHTING WITH OTHER INMATES. FOLLOW ALL JAIL RULES. COOPERATE WITH ATTORNEY AND SUCH.
Joe Smith: Not applicable
Rod: all negativity
Ben: To get time off you need to behave. You cannot get into any fights with inmates or with the staff. You also have to watch what you say on the phone. I saw somebody go to the hole for fighting.
Jade: NO MAJOR VIOLATIONS. LIKE FIGHTING OR TAMPERING WITH SECURITY. fOR EVERY THREE DAYS THts done in lock down one day is taken away or added to sentence.
