Interview with Ryan

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Ryan: I met with a probation agent after my initial court hearing. Filled out a questionaire about various aspects of my life as well as questions about my incident in order to get a history on me.

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Ryan: No

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Ryan: Really busy. Went through a metal detector. The court room was real crowded. I had to fill out documents for a public defender. I was pretty nervous but felt like I deserved it. They made me take oath then asked me to state my full name and birthday. They set another date and made me sign a document saying I would come back to court and be law abiding through the process

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Ryan: 2nd degree dwi posession of marijuana. I was convicted of the 2nd degree dwi and they dropped the charges for the posession.
