Medications

Interview with Nathan

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Nathan: Yes. You would have to go to the doctor. You couldn't get Tylenol or anything like that off commissary. The strongest painkiller you can get is Ibuprofen, even if you had a tooth pulled.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Nathan: A nurse dispenses meds each night.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Nathan: I never got piss tested while I was there. They didn't regularly test for anything so I don't know.
