Interview with Allyson and Eric

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Allyson: Orange tops and bottoms. All orange. It says Douglas County Jail on the back. They issue you a couple sports bras, underwear and socks. You change your laundry out twice a week. You get the same laundry back because its in a numbered time. They were comfortable.
Eric: you cant bring anything from the outside into the jail I wish I could wear my own clothes

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Allyson: Yes, see above. Everybody is in orange, except the trustees were in white.
Eric: Orange shirt some of the shirts had pockets, some did not. a brown t-shirt underneath, four pair of boxers, two pair of socks, and three t-shirts.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Allyson: You will find some of the pant leg bottoms are ripped. You want to make sure the guard knows you were issued those so they don't think you did it, and they will usually issue you a new pair.
Eric: not that I can recall im not sure on that one

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Allyson: No it was the same.
Eric: No the jumpsuits were universal orange and brown
