Inmates

Interview with Allie and Jason

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Allie: Not really.
Jason: yes and no ive been in worse countys before and this was a pretty chill county jail as i see it. 2 of my cellies puffed up on me but it was defused calmly and relayed that the walls were just getting to them..

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Allie: Just basically kind of keep to yourself. Don't talk about your crime or take legal advice from anybody else because they don't know what they are talking about. Minimal chitchat.
Jason: well its simple.. keep to your self and dont act lie a tuff guy. being from the bay area i had some people who could relate to me but for the most part no body wants to turn the jail into a card functioning unit so every one is chill

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Allie: Sometimes the deputies will let you choose but it just depends on the deputy. If you have problems with somebody and you ask to be moved they will usually accomodate that.
Jason: not very often my first cellie was in maximum securtiy and we just swiched out cells whenever our 30 days was up so that wed keep our window shots ( views of the TV) and my second cellie was my firsts old cellie so i was able to cell up with him and he was chill too
