Good Behavior

Interview with Fred, Alfred and Darryl

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Fred: No, because I was basically waiting for trial they didn't have anything like that for me.
Alfred: No I was realesed on bail. I was the giveen a trial date.
Darryl: Yes, I was able to get two weeks off for good behavior and another two weeks for working.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Fred: I think it is one off for every five days served. You can also work in the jail and that can knock down your time some.
Alfred: I have no idea, they told me it would have been a state facility I was destined for.
Darryl: It depends on what you are there for.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Fred: Just stay out of trouble. If you get written up for anything it's never a good thing.
Alfred: I was not in there long enough for that. I was tld if you piss the guards off enough, or got caught with contraband, they pulled your time.
Darryl: You can not get in any trouble at all. Yes I saw people lose their time off for fighting and for not listening to the guards
