Interview with Brad, Brit, Chuck, Ben and Carl

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Brad: Uniforms....green in color
Brit: scrubs
Chuck: standard issue dress greens and bobo shoes. other items are available via commisary (and were usually expensive) such as sweat suits, tee shirts, boxers, thermal long johns, socks, sneakers and gym shorts.
Ben: You could wear white t-shirts, white socks and grey sweatpants. No strings were allowed. You had to buy shoes from the jail.
Carl: All clothes were taken

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Brad: They look like very thick scrubs that nurses wear in hospitals.
Brit: green
Chuck: green uniforms. similar in style and appearance to a nurse's scrubs
Ben: The pants were camo carpenters pants and a light green scrub pants. Some pants were green scrub pants also and they said 'PCJ' on them.
Carl: None---I weigh 150 and was given a set of 4X uniforms....When I complained---they said get my weight up..

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Brad: no , just try to get the larger sizes so they dont be all tight on your body.....If you are fortunate maybe you can order gym shorts or sweatpants from commissary.....Very expensive!!!
Chuck: assigned clothes? no. everybody got the same green uniform going in.
Ben: There were no clothes in high demand they were basically all the same.
Carl: Anything that fit properly----

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Brad: No
Brit: no
Chuck: not that i was aware of.
Ben: No the clothing was the same
Carl: Unknown
