Interview with Sam

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Sam: You know. I don't remember..but that place was huge.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Sam: Letters. Like Block H. i really dont remeber it was 2006 and i pretty much closed my mid to it

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Sam: non violent and violent. then those on watch. I beleive they wanted to keep those that were in jail due to violent crimes away from those that were. I appreciated that

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Sam: The best thoing about the block I was in was that it was dorm space, which means you have more people to talk to..play cards and chess with. that made a difference. a small cell with just you o=r 2 people would have made it seem so much longer...not as much room to walk around. the dorms have phones in the cell...which you can use all day as often as you want. it the single or double cells you have to wit until the doors open and you are free to move about. its just a differnt thing complete.
