Interview with Mary, D Bo, Joel and Trevor

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Mary: we wore uniforms. the same color. white shirts underneath. white underwear and white socks.
D Bo: none
Joel: You are only allowed to keep your socks and underwear. T-shirts and long johns counted as underwear.
Trevor: two pairs of underwear, two pairs of socks and white thermal underwear, plain white, no words

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Mary: yes. it was brownish in color.
D Bo: orange shirt and pants
Joel: We were issued an orange jumpsuit which consisted of an orange pull-over shirt and orange elastic band pants. Also a pair of shower shoes that had no support
Trevor: we had an orange shirt and also an orange pair of pants and an undersized pair of black flip flops, nothing fit and it was freezing in there

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Mary: none that i can think of. they were all pretty much the same.
D Bo: no
Joel: Yes. Every inmate wants a brand new jump suit because who wants to wear something that 1000 men has put on their body
Trevor: everyone wanted a pair of thermal underwear or a tshirt to wear

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Mary: I do not know as I was in with all women, and we were separated from the men.
D Bo: yes by color
Joel: Yes. Men wore orange. Women wore red
Trevor: no, it was the same for both
