Meals

Interview with Diana

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Diana: Three meals were served per day.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Diana: The food was mediocre at best though I heard compared to the other county jails the food was superb. No matter how the food was served , what was wrong with the food, or how the food was missing items you had to take it or forfeit your free meal.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Diana: My favorite meals were the fish and the chicken dinners. My least favorite meal was the "spaghetti". I rarely at the cold cereal they offered for breakfast.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Diana: The only snacks that were offered outside of the meals usually had to be purchased. On special occasions and holidays they sometimes issued snacks. Everything on commissary was overpriced and the quality and variety of stuff offered was lacking.
