Interview with Kaylie, Alfredo and Rosa

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Kaylie: A brown pair of pants and a brown shirt. They gave me two shirts because I said I was cold.
Alfredo: The only thing you can where from your civilian clothes are thermals top and bottom, boxer briefs, white tees, and white socks.
Rosa: none all had to be bought off canteen and they were very expensive most could not afford

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Kaylie: That was it.
Alfredo: Guilford county only offers an orange one piece button up jumpsuit, on in red, and a two piece yellow sweat suite for those in the pride program. Trustees get blue two piece sweat suits.
Rosa: greenis/gray and huge. it was two piece and short sleeve. you had no bra and the chaplain gave out panties. all wore orange flip flops that were too big

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Kaylie: No just what they gave you.
Alfredo: I don't think so, maybe sizes were in high demand but not specific pieces.
Rosa: no just something that would fit you if at all possible

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Kaylie: Some of the men had red and others had yellow.
Alfredo: Everytime I saw a female she was in red for max and she was usually crazy.
Rosa: the men wore one piece orange outfits and orange shoes
