Interview with Traci and Mama

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Traci: There was so many different times it's hard to think of just one.
Mama: Haha pre-sentencing??

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Traci: Well, this was a different situation. I was already serving time in the state correctional facility but my husband at the time was a registered sex offender so when my mother brought my kids over to visit we got into all kinds of trouble.
Mama: No, I went to see my friend in jail & they arrested me at the jail

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Traci: It's always a stressful time I don't care if you go in for a traffic ticket or something else. Its especially bad for me because I got kids I'm worrying about too.
Mama: Court is worse then jail, constantly nervous & if you go into.the court cell its freezing cold & your shackled and made to look like a clown at a fair pending on your charges innocent or not. I don't believe innocent until proven guilty at all more like guilty until proven innocent

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Traci: The issue I was dealing with was child endangerment.
Mama: 1 count of attempted murder.. was proven innocent.
