Interview with Christian, Robert, Terry, Diana, Gina and Cindy

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Christian: take extra underwear socks longjohn top and bottoms extra t shirts wear more than one set you will need them gym shoes also are nice to have and shower shoes if you can get them in
Chris: If they have a family or friend going to this jail try to make sure that they have money on there books for phone cards and commissary or you will be hungry.
Robert: well ther aint much you can do about it, it depends on the charge on what block they are in, but they feed you an its lit up all nite
Terry: Stay out of trouble so you do not have to go back. Losing your freedom is not worth the time or hassle. You lose yourself and miss the real world.
Diana: I would warn them that jail can be scary at first and there is confrontation but its not as bad as they show on TV and to try to make the best of it. Its very cold in the justice center and to try to stay warm and to remember it will all be over with soon.
Gina: To please keep in close contact with there lawyer and to be at every hearing so some one on so they don't get listed in the system.also if they are given mess there to make sure you no what they are give and how much and to make sure the have money to buy the things they need just keep up with the very important
Cindy: make sure you have money to eat because the food sucks. just keep to yourself and do not get in any altercations its not worth the punishment you will hate it

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Christian: what ever you did to get thrown in jail dont do it again its cold the foood sucks and this is not the cool thing to do or place to be
Chris: If your gonna do time in this jail make sure you have a lot of money also just stay to yourself so you don't get into trouble or you will stay longer.
Robert: I would tell them to try to stay quiet an mind your own business and be respectfull to the guards, and try to stay calm , because you don't want any extra time
Terry: Keep your head up and do your time. Observe who and who not to associate with but be respective to all no matter who they are. If you have artistic talents use them
Diana: To try to stay calm, get along with others , don't think negatively try to make the best of it and if your obviously not serving life then always remember it is just temporary and jail will help you learn from your mistakes.
Gina: Keep to your self don't make any new friends don't tell anybody about yourself and to stay away fr the people who are in out it they are at home there is a lot of them
Cindy: just stay to your self and keep your head up they are usually not holding you forever unless the charge mandates it you have an out date to look forward to
