Interview with Katherine
JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Katherine: For me it wasn't bad because I'm a friendly
person. So I never really had any problems with
other inmates. Also, I stuck to myself which
prevented any difficulties.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Katherine: Not talk loud, don't brag about your family or
money, don't talk about your education, and don't
discuss something you don't like. They will
probably be into whatever you hate.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Katherine: Nope, whenever they needed room or the inmate was
released.
