Inmates

Interview with Clint

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Clint: actually I didn't find it very difficult with the other inmates up until 11 days before I was due to get released I ended up getting into a physical altercation with another inmate because of my sexual preference and other than that I only other problem I had was when I was working in the kitchen with the kitchen manager of the jail and it up sexually harassing me

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Clint: I kept myself from getting into fights with other inmates by keeping my sexual preference to myself I didn't speak to nobody I didn't introduce myself to know and I didn't try to make friends with any of the other inmates in order to keep myself from getting into fights with other inmates

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Clint: well actually no I was unable to pick my cellmate I might ride at one point and I was denied and actually while I was there my cell mates with changing probably I would was once a week or every other week sometimes it was every few days
