JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Ralph: the yard, which is basically a basketball hoop Adam: They had a library that you could go to every so
often. They offerd ged classes for people to get
educated. they had all types of church services
for different religions. They had what was
called a yard but was just a big garage type
area with a garage door way up high
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Ralph: i never went out Adam: You can get tvs in you cell for 30 sum dollars
every two weeks so there wasnt too many
arguments over the tv out in the dayroom.
Usually it had on a channel everyone that was
watching it agreed on so nobody got into
arguments. i usually had a tv in the cell to
watch
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Ralph: not at all, i got in shape real good Adam: i gained some weight but theres ways to
exercise. County jail you can walk or do push
ups and sit ups. no weights
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Ralph: there is no outside Adam: there wasnt really an outside it was like a big
garage with a garage door about 15 feet up a
wall to get fresh air
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Ralph: they were held in a class room Adam: yes they offered all types of religious services
but i never attended any of them. they made
announcements and such
