Interview with Danny

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Danny: I had to go thru a phycalogical evaluation with a Dr. to determine if i was concidered a sexually violent preditor, or just a regular sex offender.was also interviewed by the state sexual assesment board to determine same classification. had muliple visits with my lawyer to determine if i should go to trial, or take a plea agreement.

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Danny: was sitting in my house. the attorney generals office agents, along with the Altoona police department busted through my front and back doors, with there guns drawn, probably 10 to 12 total officers were present, had agents run into my house, when they found me they had there guns drawn and pointed at me. they told me to not move, ask me my name, then proceeded to hand cuff me and remove me from my home.

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Danny: was very nerve racking, i have never been in trouble before this, and had no idea what to expect from the process. I was one of the first to be charged with my crime, and I believe they wanted to make an expample of me,i was prosecuted by the AG's office not the local district attorney.my attorney, and the AG's office came to an agreement for a plea bargin, so there was no trial per say.

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Danny: unlawful contact with a minor, miss use of a communications device, unlawfull posession of illegle ammunition, and posession of pot. i was convicted of unlawful contact with a minor, missuse of a communications device, and pot charges.
