Medications

Interview with Harry and Arnold

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Harry: For the most part you did.
Arnold: You did only have access at certain times.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Harry: The nurse would bring them to you on the block at the times that they had set up to pass out meds.
Arnold: We got our meds when the nurse should come around at the set times. Which was basically breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Harry: Mainly people were thrown into the hole. I never saw anyone go to the whole for drugs, but I did see people use drugs.
Arnold: The punishments could be getting new criminal charges. And being thrown in the hole. Yes I saw people get into trouble trading their medications.
