Interview with Eric, Paul and Cody
JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Eric: yes
Paul: Yes which is exspensive only when we are out of are cells or
nobodys on the phones
Cody: If you have money on them yes.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Eric: very expensive
Paul: I'm not sure 2.50 a call I think I'm not sure. I didn't wanna
know
Cody: My fiance and I always hit the
monthly limit of 250 dollars.
The further the more expensive
it is. Calls are very very
expensive.
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Eric: yes
Paul: No. Didnt waste money for it
Cody: If there wasn't money on the
phone put on by an outside
source.
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Eric: yes
Paul: Yes always will security thing??
Cody: They recoreded them yes they
record them all.
