Good Behavior

Interview with Karina and Taylor

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Karina: In Dorchester County I was bailed out.
Taylor: no i didn't because in order to do that i would have had to be sentenced first.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Karina: If you have 30 days to serve you get 10 off with good time.
Taylor: it used to be 15 days off for every 30 spent, now its 10.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Karina: Basically you have to avoid any confrontation, do what you're told, can't be found with any contraband, be in your room on time. You can become a trustee and you wash, dry and fold clothes, pass out meals, clean the pods, etc.
Taylor: no i didn't ever witness anything like that. people don't want to be there so they wont risk losing their time off. you should avoid drama.
