Good Behavior

Interview with Seth, Ellen and Isaac

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Seth: yes because i did what i was suppose to do
Ellen: NO THAT DID NOT MATTER IN MY CASE, I HAD TO STAY IN.
Isaac: I have never served sentencing time in the Richland County jail but it is sometimes possible to be released early.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Seth: my charge would had been 9 months off
Ellen: I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THAT.
Isaac: I do no know the answer to this question.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Seth: stay out of trouble while you in prison and if you see something do not tell on anyone because you could get seriously hurt and that is not a solution
Ellen: WELL ITS COMMON SENSE. DON'T FIGHT, CUSS OUT AN OFFICER AND SIMPLY DO AS YOUR TOLD. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW RULES THEN THATS ON YOU.
Isaac: You would definitely have to avoid any type of written reprimand. These can be issued for the pettiest offenses at time. Failure to comply is a catch all charge that they use. Basically just listen to whatever the officer tells you to do.
