Interview with Lois
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Lois: yea that is it underwear and socks but some
fellers had their own shirts but I did not
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Lois: I had been given one pair of pants and one shirt
and it was matching to the pants and the shirt. It
was of the striped natures I would highly recommend
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Lois: Maybe a certain color if he/she liked that certain
color but no there was not anything high in demand
from the inmates I knew and lived amongst
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Lois: As far as I could tell the clothes were no
different between the next
