Interview with Lois

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Lois: Three for guys and two for gals

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Lois: cell A, cell B, Cell C and I can't think of what the names of the women's cells were or if they had a name but it was probably the same with the cell A and B

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Lois: They kept the child molesters safe from other inmates by keeping them in maximum security most of the time. Cells A and B, A held the worst crimes and B held the lighter crimes. Cell C was Maximum I believe.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Lois: My favorite part about the blocks is the climate control. I did enjoy the way they turned on the air conditioning and made it cold in there. One guy told me that they do that on purpose to keep the action down inside the blocks. It is believed that when an inmate gets cold then most inmates would go get in their beds or on their mats
