Interview with Denise
JM: How many different blocks were there?
Denise: there was 1 womans pod, 4 mens pods, 1 max pod 4
men that was set up exactly like the womans, 2
isolation cells and 3 holding cells, and the
trustees cell. the woman werent allowed to be
trustees.
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Denise: 137,135,max,133 etc....
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Denise: they were seperated by sentenced, or not, state
inmate or county inmate
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Denise: the nicest was that the woman had the individual
cells the worst was that the state
inmates9males) were over crowded and the woman
could see the men in the shower when they were
in the library
