Good Behavior

Interview with Sean

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Sean: No. State law does not allow ANY time off for DUI and Child support offenders. I did observe several others get out because of over crowding and "good time" They were mostly theives and drug offenders.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Sean: I think they got 1 1/2 day for every day served. Trustees got two for one.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Sean: Mostly avoid fights and try to stay in good with the correctional officers. Keep your area clean. I saw several lose there "good time" because of fights of conflicts with the officers. Also, any contraband would cause you to lose "good time"
