Interview with Natalie

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Natalie: The only clothes that were allowed, outside of the oranges that were brought to inmates, were approved whites which could be purchase on commissary.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Natalie: When processed in, each inmate was given a pair of boxers, a pair of orange pants and an orange shirt. We were allowed to keep personal socks in addition to the orange Crocs were were issued.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Natalie: There were no high demand clothing items of which I was aware.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Natalie: Since I was in the female housing, I can only speak to when we were taken to court, and to my knowledge, the men's assigned clothing was the same as the women's.
