Interview with Lance

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Lance: tv and a library old books and magazines other wise it was pretty lonely they had a lot of books and magazines to read including several bibles and the tv had cbs on so we just watched what ever came on and I basically slept the whole time so I could be alittle fuzzy

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Lance: yes the entertainment was a tv and books and there was no competition we all watched football and local news or read a book with nothing else to do and that was only in the evening I don't remember much else because I slept most of the time so I can not remember

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Lance: no I was not in jail long enough to get out of shape and wasn't fed enough to worry about it

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Lance: never except when I left and walked to another police vehicle shackled so not much exercise at all just stayied in cell except at meal time

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Lance: no church services where held only church you could get was from the bibles in the library which made me more spirtual
