Meals

Interview with Anita

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Anita: 3 meals per day, most of the time at least 1 was a sandwich and chips and breakfast was doughnuts EVERYDAY. once a. month. biscuits. and gravy was served

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Anita: on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being gregg county food. and 5 being. home, i would rate harrison county a 3.75. the food is ordered from a quality service, cooked correctly and given in portions. that i would consider decent, compared of course to. gregg county. where portions are half size, and food is substandard quality

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Anita: favorite was the chicken strips, they were real meat as opposed to pressed, least favorite wasthe daily damned doughnuts. and juice

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Anita: snacks were not offered they were to be bought off a commissary. list that was limited and highly overpriced. whoever. processed the orders left some thing tp be desired as they were often screwed up.
