Visitor Policy

Interview with Charlie, Don and Pierce

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Charlie: Twice a week.
Don: 2 times a week 20 mins per visit
Pierce: Every Wednesdays and Saturdays I believe

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Charlie: No. Visitors must show identification such as a driver's license.
Don: yes
Pierce: No I don't think it was a hassle for my family

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Charlie: There is a visitation tank that holds about 25 inmates at a time. Contact between inmates and visitors is made through glass with a telephone on both sides of the glass.
Don: stressfull
Pierce: Chaotic because inmates would be getting into it with there girl friends, friends or families. When you have a visit you are face with a stress of having a lot of issues going on and you can't do any thing about it. So it was sad and crazy to say the least.
