Pre-sentencing

Interview with Carlos

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Carlos: Pre Sentencing was actually time consuming, I was arrested for driving under the influence. IAfter bailing out I returned to court mabout three times before I could resolve my case.

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Carlos: No I did not.

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Carlos: I went to court and boy is this court packed, the courtroom was full, people waiting in the halls, and people getting reset. Everything starts at 9am and runs until 5pm. I wore my work uniform and brought my family along, the judge was really upset. I forget her name, but she was in a horrible mood all three visits. And even more upset when I saw her after I broke probation.
