Interview with Dorothy
JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Dorothy: We got three meals a day.
JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Dorothy: I hated the food and I would only eat once a day
to keep my stomach from getting upset. The food
was either to spicy or not cooked all the way or
too cold or burned up. The food was HORRIBLE!!!
We never got any fresh fruits or vegetables and
you need that in your diet. Also water that comes
somewhere besides the toilet would be nice.
JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Dorothy: I maybe only had like one meal that I looked
forward to and that was the Tacos other than that
I ate what I needed to survive.
JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Dorothy: There was commissary that came three times a week
and it was so outrageously prices and nothing but
snacks and not anything with nutritional value.
I usually only bought hygiene products. They do
not provide any of those at all!!!
