Interview with pete, Jake, Billy and Kara

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
pete: Behave , and keep to yourself, borrow a book from a fellow inmate to pass time
Jake: It's the most demeaning, degrading experience a person can go through. It is very depressing and unexpected in what seems like most instances.
Billy: no there is really nothing you can do for a loved one except make sure they have addicuate money on there books so that if they need something they have reasonable and timely access to it by purchasing it on the commissary,If you cant afford to send money by all means try to have at least 10 bucks or so because the toothbrush's that they hand out will eat your gums alive. the soap for showering is useless and you will definitely need money for stamps.
Kara: Women's monthly hygiene was not considered at all. A woman on her cycle, if she was indigent had no panties to hold hygiene products in place. It was animalistic.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
pete: No
Jake: Try to keep your time consumed with reading up on the law and how it works.. they say ignorance of the law is no excuse. And if your innocent, always take a court appointed attorney, no sense in paying any more than you have to.
Billy: yeah stay out of trouble and just dont go.
Kara: Stay out of trouble!
