Interview with pete, Jake, Billy and Kara

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
pete: Once a weekend
Jake: 2 times weekly.
Billy: umm i believe once a week.
Kara: Twice a week.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
pete: No , it was quick
Jake: About 1 hour.
Billy: yeah it usually took my wife an hour and a half to see me then for only half hour.
Kara: Yes and dehumanizing for them as well.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
pete: Descent
Jake: A nicer, more kept version of the inside. A pane of glass and a metal stool on either side. The thing you talked through looked like a 2-way speaker. I'm positive they use these as a recording device to build a case against those they don't have.
Billy: visiting was through a glass and phone type set- up.everyone would sit next to each other and basically hear every word you would say.Very noisy the kids would be yelling and screaming on the other side so it made people talk even louder.
Kara: Hard to hear, phones didn't work well.
