Cache County has been a fast-growing county in northern Utah. Although people might not immediately think of crime as being a big problem in such a conservative state, actually there is quite a bit of crime and the jail stays quite full. Click through the links on the left sidebar to get an idea of what life in Cache County Jail is really like. These interviews come directly from people who have actually been incarcerated in the jail. Of course nobody wants to go to jail, but if you know somebody in this situation it is at least nice to be able to reassure them of what to expect. In general jail is much less scary than what is usually depicted on television (which is actually prison anyway).
