Interview with Allan, Gabi and Clayton

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Allan: 4 blocks with 5 pods on each block.
Gabi: not sure all of them

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Allan: A,B,C,D 4 or 5 pods on each block A1-5, etc.
Clayton: ABCD
Gabi: a wing b wing c wing were mens at one point then womens pod moved to the new wing and it was c-1 c-2

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Allan: Women were in the C block. Men were in A,B and D.
Clayton: Not sure
Gabi: you had murders in with thiefs or childsupport issues they say they classify them but they dont care where they put you if your a problem your in a different area

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Allan: D cells were smaller, no desks. Throughout the jail, they always had the air conditioner on, even in the winter. It would get cold. Guys would cover up the vent aTrustees and those in the drug treatment live in a dorm situation. You are in a big room where you can walk around. nd would get in trouble for that. In D they built it so the guard could see into the cell and see every corner. No privacy. The basketball court they had was smaller.
Gabi: well the new cell block for thewomen the showers were in a different location and the shower curtains were new so noone would beable to see yuo shower. the male guards were right in front of the shower stalls in the old pod
