Interview with Scott

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Scott: 18

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Scott: south 1, south 2, south 3, southeast 1, southeast 2. southeast 3, southwest 1, southwest 2, southwest 3, north 1, north 2, north 3, northwest 1, northwest 2, northwest 3, northeast 1, northeast 2, northeast 3

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Scott: south 2 was for inmates who were within 6 months of release. south 1 and southeast 1 were the maximum security blocks. Northwest 2 and southwest 2 was high security block. Northwest 3 was the intake block. southeast 2 was the GED program block. North 3 was the Project Empowerment block.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Scott: One block was always on lockdown and another had bars instead of doors which was awful. The nicest thing was there was a computer lab in one of the blocks and there was a basketball court on every block which was nice.
