Medications

Interview with Ryan, Alex, George, Diana and Maria

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Ryan: YES WITH SOME WAITING
Alex: Yes I think the medical there was more than sufficient.
George: NO
Diana: I didn't take any mefs
Maria: Yes we did, actually, Yes.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Ryan: NURSE DISPENCED
Alex: They had a nurse come in to the dorm 3 times per day.
George: WAITED FOR EVER TO SEE A DR THAT SAID NO TO ANYTHING YOU WANTED
Diana: I didn't take any meds so I didn't need any meds to be given to me I'm very health do I don't need meds
Maria: We had to get them from the nurse, in a long, long line we would stand, waiting for her to come.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Ryan: FURTHER CHARGES
Alex: Additional time, sent to segregation, etc.
George: FELONY CHARGE
Diana: No but I think you would be put in hole. With no good time but I'd gave witness this for myself
Maria: I never witnessed any abuse of drugs, personally, but I heard tales of girls who were smoking crack, shooting heroin, etc.
