Interview with Nelson
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Nelson: I was in there for about a week. I wasn't
sentenced to jail time though.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Nelson: They didn't delouse me, which bothered me. My
mom works in a prison and my understanding is
that this is pretty standard procedure in
corrections. They put me in a holding cell for
15-20 minutes to read over the rules of the
jail. It was just a table and a couple of
plastic chairs, the rules, no one else.
