Interview with Sarah, Sandra and Lyle
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Sarah: 2 years jail
2 years probation
Sandra: 18 months incarceration and 2 years supervision
Lyle: Two and a half years in, and two and a half years
parole.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Sarah: yes. i was by myself
Sandra: I was taken back to my regular pod right after
court sentencing. It was a four man pod because
it was designed for prisoners who might be at
risk of harm.
Lyle: Briefly, I spent time in a holding cell, before and
after sentencing, then was taken back to general
population in the County Jail, where I would wait
to be transferred to prison.
