Interview with Lindsay and Bryce

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Lindsay: There were only 2 then
Bryce: Not sure I think at least 10.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Lindsay: Trustee dorm and the weekend dorm were names back then
Bryce: They were a b c d e f g h j and so on.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Lindsay: Weekend dorm was more mellow people and trustee dorm held more unruly inmates and longer sentences and it was always getting put on lockdown for people getting into a lot of trouble
Bryce: It wasn't. It was so overcrowded every body was every where. Petty stuff to capital murder. My cellmate was. Capital murder suspect. So just think what I thought being in there with an a

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Lindsay: There are no nice parts period the best thing was looking forward to library cart to come around and I hated always having to be up early for no reason and alll the noise and aggravating sounds you hear all nite doesnt make for rest and so you end up irritated
Bryce: Well there is nothing nice about any blocks. I remember it being cold and loud. The food is horrible,the guards don't give a damn. They tell u not to touch the intercom button unless its an emergency and it better be a emergency to them if not you will be wrote up and visit taken commissary gone for 2 months.
