Interview with Sarah, Paul, Allan and Erik

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Sarah: 6 months here a year there 8 months here 4 there. !0 DUI's add's up to alot of jail time. I never had to go to PRISON... by the Grace Of God.
Paul: 180 days...served at 1/2 time meant I went home on the day of sentencing
Allan: 1 yr. county 7 yrs. probation
Erik: Sentencing was for 2yrs suspended upon competion of a domestic violence program (1yr)and of course obey all laws. Probational period was for three years. I'd been in jail for 2 1/2 months

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Sarah: I was a very Biligerant drunk. I always spent time in holding cells... always thank-ful... even to wake up... on the cement floors... or hugging the shinning aluminum toilet.
Paul: No, holding cell. After sentencing I requested that I be sent to the kitchen to work, and the woman in the tower was accommodating. I had seen people get out, and knew the officers took their time with paperwork. I wanted to go to the kitchen so I could work and eat well.
Allan: They placed me in a holding cell with two other men that were in the court room with me. they beat people to the point of bleeding on a regular basis
Erik: I was already in custody when sentenanced. I di spent most of the rest of the day incarcerated. Court was at 1130 and I was released from custody around dinner time 530pm. Before dinner so the didn't have to feed me
