Interview with Nancy and Bryce
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Nancy: yes as I was in the trustee
pod.State"good-time"2-days/month. Trustee
"good-time"=1.8x***/days
Bryce: No I did not. You obtain 2 days good time for every
30 days in Douglas County. I only had to do 15 so
they did not get out any good time.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Nancy: state/mandatory=2/days
per/month.trustee/good-time=1.8days
as/long/as/you're/not/removed/from trustee pod.
Bryce: 2 days for every 30 days.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Nancy: physical fights will take some or all
good-time,stealing,or general,consistent conflict
w/other inmates.It's ALWAYS left/to/each
individual deputy tho.Witnessed
fights,had/my/canteen/stolen,inmates were
pod-transferred but no "good time" taken.
Bryce: Listen to what the deputy says, don't cause fights,
and make sure your up for head count. Don't get put
on lock down, or upset the deputy.
