Good Behavior

Interview with Wade and Casey

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Wade: Yes I got almost three months off for good time
Casey: I did, but not while in Middlesex County. I was at Edna Mahan at the time I was released on parole.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Wade: Most time is 10 days a month
Casey: The longer the sentence, the longer the time you can work off. Depends on whether you are parole eligible and if you have a stipulated sentence. People with "Flat" sentences get a "better deal", because they are released to parole earlier, but do not max out on the sentence til much later.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Wade: Yah you can't go to the whole or you lose that months good time there are lots of reason to go to the hole fights are one of the main reason tho
Casey: You can lose your time off if you get a code called on you because of fighting, talking back to a CO, arguing with other inmates, not washing (bad hygiene). Yes, of coarse, please lose time off because of their bad behavior.
