Interview with Ted
JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Ted: I was arrested for possession of drugs.
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Ted: I was arrested at Mountain View (a part of town
in Anchorage).
JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Ted: I went to court the next day or two after being
incarcerated. They have court inside the jail.
Its not video, the judge is actually there.
Basically it was an arraignment type of deal and
a bail hearing. I just went in and they
basically read my charges, told me what my bail
was and then they took me back to jail.
JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Ted: I haven't been convicted yet, I'm still going
through court proceedings. My charge is MICS 4
(Misconduct Regarding a Controlled Substance in
the 4th degree).
