Interview with Ryan
JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Ryan: Have patience. Let the system run it's course.
You can talk to a lawyer but sometimes it just is
what it is. If you visit, be encouraging, go in
with a smile. Don't need to rehash what the
prisoner always knows. Try to write even if its
just about your day.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Ryan: You put yourself in there so don't come in with a
chip on your shoulder cause it's gonna get
knocked off. Don't "F" around with other
prisoners by imposing your will on them. It's
their world and you're just visiting.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Ryan: Santa Clara County over night drunk tank.
