Pre-sentencing

Interview with Chris

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Chris: well i went to court about 10 times adn everytime you hard to get up at 3:30 and sit in a cell until 5:45 theen load up on the bus for a fourty five minutes drive and this whole time you were in shackels and upon arriaval you were placed in a holding cell in shackles for another 45 minutes them moved to another cell depending onif you had a lawyer or a public defender your wait before entering the courtroom could be form 45 minutes to five hours

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Chris: I got stoppped because of a missing license platei was driving down the road and i got pulled over and arrested found out i had a warramt and they took me to jail it was not my car it was my brother in laws and they impounded the car it was the day before easter

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Chris: like i said before it is a long exhausting day getting up at 3:45 put in a holing cell in shackels until you load on the bus then you had a 45 minute bus ride and placed in another holding cell you could not communicate with your loved ones if they were in the court room or you would get in big trouble

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Chris: violation of probation not completeing my anger management classes
