JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Sonia: yes I was able to earn what is called gain time
in the state of Florida which totals 15 percent
which is about 5 days a month that is the
maximum time state or county that can be taken
off of your sentence in the state of florida
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Sonia: I answered that previously which is 15 percent
which totals approximately 5 days a month
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Sonia: Fighting possession of contraband disrespect
hoarding medication. No in Nassau they were good
about not taking your gain time but instead took
away other privilages if people were found to be
in violation of jail rules
