Meals

Interview with Kelly

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Kelly: 3 meals per day with no snacks

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Kelly: Disgusting!!! It was thick gravy like ghoulash alot of the time with bologna added or rice and hotdogs. It was thick and slimy and alot of white bread to fill up on. not healthy or full of any type of vitamins. Not sure what we were eating half the time

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Kelly: Liked the cookies and the rice when it was plain, but for the most part it was a ghoulash and it wasnt good

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Kelly: not unless you had commissary but the commissary was affordable. It started at like twenty dollars and went up from there. Everything from candy, to pastries, to chips and cup of soups. Alot of variety
